Scott Arvay

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. — Lifeway Christian Resources announced the appointment of Scott Arvay as its new chief revenue officer.

“Scott brings significant expertise in sales, marketing and customer relations that will be invaluable to Lifeway as we continue to lean into our growth strategy,” said Lifeway President and CEO Ben Mandrell. “His proven strategic leadership experience will be a huge asset to Lifeway.”

As Lifeway’s chief revenue officer, Arvay is responsible for Lifeway’s strategic planning and revenue generation. Mandrell said the new CRO role is critical to Lifeway’s strategic focus as the organization looks to reach new customers and provide deeper value to existing customers. “Scott has the great combination of both relational acumen and an intellectual understanding of our business,” Mandrell said.

With nearly 20 years of sales and business development experience, Arvay brings significant experience in sales with software companies, as well as ministry-related businesses. Before coming to Lifeway, Scott led the global sales and customer support team at Faithlife, the parent brand of the Logos Bible Study software. He has also served in various pastoral and leadership roles within the local church.

A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Arvay earned a B.S. and an M.B.A. from Duquesne University and an M.A. in Christian Leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary.

“It is truly an exciting time to join what God is doing through Lifeway,” Arvay said. “With a strong employee culture, an exciting portfolio of products and a strong financial position, Lifeway is poised for further growth through a strong commitment to serving church leaders. Our desire is for church leaders to see Lifeway as their trusted ministry partner.”

Lifeway’s Board of Trustees affirmed Arvay during their August 2023 trustee meeting.

“Scott’s superpower is team building,” Mandrell said. “He will help guide all of Lifeway in working together to help us focus on churches, better understand their needs, and provide them with the resources and tools they need for ministry.”
